  • Acute Febrile (Fever) Illnesses.
  • Fever of Unknown Origin which is when the cause of the fever is difficult to determine and treat.
  • Infectious and Tropical Diseases  such as COVID-19, Dengue, Typhoid, Malaria Leptospirosis, Melioidosis and Typhus. Influenza and other Viral Fevers/Diseases 
  • Infections which involve the organs such as the brain (meningitis, encephalitis), skin and soft tissues, lungs (pneumonia), urinary tract infections, bone and joint infections. Surgical Site Infectiouns 
  • Acute Diarrheal illnesses for example  Acute Gastroenteritis , Cholera and food poisoning. 
  • Sexually Transmitted Diseases such as syphillis, gonorrhea, herpes simplex 
  • Tuberculosis 
  • Septicaemia (severe infection of the bloodstream) 
  • Infections by Antibiotic Resistant Organisms
