Designed to function inside existing operating theatres, AIRO has a small footprint and provides an integrated and versatile CT imaging and patient positioning solution in the OT. AIRO is used for cranial, spine and trauma procedures.
With CT imaging available in the OT, it increases surgeon confidence during the surgery and provide accurate image guidance to plan the surgical path and decision making.
Equipped with user-friendly control software, it can be moved by one person. The front-view safety camera ensures stress-free portability. Fully adaptable, AIRO moves into a variety of procedural setups for cranial, spine and trauma cases.
The AIRO is also connected to the CURVE which is an image guided surgery system so that swift and automatic image transfer, and the merging of pre and intraoperative scans can be done easily.
With the installation at SJMC, it’s the first of its kind service available in a Malaysian private hospital for better patient care and outcomes.
