Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs)

What are PROMs?

Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) are questionnaires that allow patients to share their perspectives on their health, symptoms, quality of life, and treatment outcomes.

At SJMC, PROMs are used to support patient-centred care, enhance communication between patients and healthcare providers, and guide continuous improvements in treatment and services.

When is PROMs activated?

These digital questionnaires are completed at key points throughout the care journey, providing clinicians with valuable insights to monitor progress, support clinical decisions, and facilitate meaningful conversations with patients.
