For over 40 years, SJMC’s blood donation centre has welcomed donors with heartfelt care and compassion.
Giving blood is a simple yet powerful way to save lives. We are dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable experience that celebrates your invaluable gift of life to our patients.

Donor Eligibility

To donate blood, you must:

Be Within Age (Male: 18 to 60) / (Female: 18 to 50)
Weigh at least 45 kg
Be in good physical and mental health
Have at least 5 hours of sleep and have eaten before donating
Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours prior to donation
Not be on long-term medication

Donor Benefits

Complimentary general health screening voucher after five blood donations
Doctor's review during the health screening
Hepatitis B vaccination, if required

Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm Closed on Sunday & Public Holidays
